Assignment A1 - Save the world, save the environment

Say no to single-use plastic

Save our marine animals

Sea turtle eats plastic

The United Nations reported that at least 800 marine species worldwide are affected by waste, and more than 80% of which is plastic. It is estimated that up to 13 million metric tons of plastic are dumped into the ocean each year. Most of these are single-use plastics, such as bags and water bottles. Fish, sea birds, sea turtles, and other marine animals may have ingested plastic debris or be constrained by the waste to drown. It only takes minutes for us to manufacture plastic and use it. But it take hundreds of years to decompose.

Create infographics aiming to encourage people to stop using single-use plastics to save marine animals. Canva is highly recommended for this because it provides templates and free photos. However, it is possible to use another software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, or even PowerPoint.
